Here is the latest version of my karaoke video. I used original footage of the song but manipulated and rearranged it for a better flow in the video. I removed the singer completely to get a even more abstract look. The timing is still not the best, but at least the video is complete by now.
You've used the sampled footage really well. I think it was a really good idea to remove the more complicated shots from the original music video and work with the more flat abstract imagery. The addition of type was getting too much on top of the complicated footage but now works well.
ReplyDeleteThe simplicity of it makes the entrance of the shadow of the arm so much more dramatic.
If you had more time would you choose to recreate and reshoot this imagery yourself or are you happier sampling from the original video?
